Daily scrum without a scrum master

It’s not uncommon for organizations to claim to be “agile” and “scrum,” but not to budget for a scrum master to drive the initiative. These organizations are frequently called “agile in name only,” adding time-bucketed “sprints” for the sole purpose of tracking progress and not with much intention of shipping frequently.

If you find yourself in a scrum team with no scrum master and difficulty finding value in the daily scrums (or “standups”), try approaching scrum with a rotating scrum master.
